Unique.  A little edgy.  A bit out of the norm.

They spoke to me-I was about to turn 60, and there they were at a small boutique.  There they were, ready to add some style to those years that were mounting. 

So, I bought them.  A gift to me.

Funny thing about those red boots.

When I wore them, complete strangers stopped me to comment on them—

to admire them-

to ask me about them.
